Hope’s Harbour Studios

Original stories. Rooted in Caribbean life. Made with faith and hope.

The Studio

Hope’s Harbour is a storytelling studio making original Christian cinematic work rooted in Caribbean life.

We write and develop films about people we recognise — their households, their work, their silences. The faith in our stories lives where it lives in life: inside decisions, inside families, inside the long distance between wounding and repair.

In Development

The Weight We Carry

A story about forgiveness.

“I’ve been carrying the day she died for so long… I’ve stopped carrying the years she lived.”

The Weight We Carry

Further titles to be announced.

Why We Tell Stories

We tell stories about things people actually live through — grief that outstays its welcome, families that hold and fail each other, choices that arrive with consequences.

Grace is not announced in our work. It surfaces the way it does in a life: late, unevenly, and often through another person. We would rather a story be honest than tidy.

From the Caribbean

A quiet Grand Bahama residential street in late afternoon light, modest low-rise homes and overhead wires

Place is not a backdrop here. It is weather, architecture, language, labour and the particular light of an afternoon.

Our stories are rooted in the Caribbean as it is lived — shuttered houses, salted railings, kitchens, corner shops, the walk home. They belong to these streets, and to the people who keep them.
